Tonight’s dinner is pork chops, slowly pan cooked with apples, pears, and a bit of onion. Side dishes are boiled potatoes and wax beans. Delicious comfort food for a cool evening.

Tips: Maybe a coloured vegetable next time, to brighten up the plate a bit.

Tonight’s supper will be quick and easy to make, and is a family favourite — quesadillas. They’ll all have shredded Tex-Mex cheese, with optional chicken and peppers. On the side, we’ll have guacamole, salsa, and tossed salad. Yummy!

Tonight’s supper is baked ribs (from Costco), oven fries and steamed vegetables. Should be tasty, if not too low calorie!
Tips: Line or spray the baking sheet before cooking the ribs, to make cleanup easier.

Today is Easter, so we’ll go to Mom and Dad’s for dinner. I’m not sure what we’ll be eating, but the best part is getting together with the family. Maybe there’ll be chocolate!

Tonight we’ll have pasta with a simple sauce and strips of leftover rib eye steak.
To prepare it, cook the pasta according to package directions, then drain well.
Toss drained pasta with one raw egg, until egg is cooked, then mix in 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese.
Stir in strips of steak and season with salt and pepper.
