Pasta With Steak Strips

linguineTonight we had some delicious pasta, with a simple sauce and strips of leftover rib eye steak. It was quick and easy to make, and we’ll definitely have it again soon.

Pasta with Steak Strips


  • ½ lb left over steak, cut into strips
  • 1/2 lb linguine or spaghetti
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • Dozen spears of asparagus
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook pasta, according to package directions
  2. At the same time, steam broccoli on stovetop or in microwave, for 5 minutes.
  3. Add asparagus to broccoli, and steam for another 5 minutes.
  4. Heat steak strips in microwave for approx 2 minutes, until warm.
  5. In large bowl beat egg  with salt and pepper
  6. Drain pasta, and add to egg mixture.
  7. Toss until egg is cooked.
  8. Add Parmesan cheese and mix well.
  9. Add steamed vegetables and steak strips.
  10. Toss and serve immediately.

Serves 2.
