Barbeque Secrets

The chef enjoys barbequing the supper whenever the weather permits — today, for example. It’s cool, but a beautiful sunny day. Cleanup is easier than washing a bunch of pots and pans, and the gas never runs out, now that we have a natural gas barbeque.

Shown below is the chef’s secret technique for grilling the sliced mushrooms. We buy “Grill Buddy” trays at Costco, toss the sliced mushrooms in a bit of the house dressing, then grill them in the tray for a few minutes.

Meanwhile, the pork chops and potato wedges finish cooking. It was all very tasty, and the perfect end to a relaxing Sunday.
