The chef is at a golf tournament today, and enjoying the luxury of someone else cooking dinner. And probably a fancy dinner too! I’ve already called dibs on any prizes that are brought home, except for the golf related items.
So, left to my own devices, I either prepared pheasant under glass, or a cheese sandwich — I can’t remember. Anyway, since dinner took so little time to make (and eat), I had time to look through my old recipe clippings, and found this tip for Blueberry Cake. It sounds easy, and tasty, and might reduce the strange colours that you get when mixing blueberries into the batter. The tip is probably from Woman’s Day in the 80s.
