Weekly Meal Plan 20160924

Last week we didn’t try the pork or salmon recipes, but don’t worry, I put them onto this week’s menu! It’s fall now, so that is the perfect time to have roasted vegetables, and stew, and other comfort foods.

Keith is playing golf on Monday, so I can make the pork dish, even if I have to go shopping for the ingredients myself!

Sunday — Ravioli

Monday Pork, Maple-Glazed with Roasted Vegetables

Tuesday — Chicken Stew

Wednesday Lemony Salmon with Pesto Cauliflower Mash

Thursday — Shepherd’s Pie

Friday — Beans & Wieners

Saturday — Burgers

How It Actually Went

Here’s what we actually had this week. To nobody’s surprise, both the pork and the salmon fell off the menu plan. I did get a pork chop though, so that was a good substitute. I didn’t take pictures of anything, so you’ll just have to imagine how it looked. Winking smile

The Ravioli was bumped to Monday, because we had beef tenderloin on Sunday, and I’m certainly not complaining about that! Keith made a tasty chicken stew on Tuesday, and delicious Shepherd’s Pie on Thursday, making up the recipes as he went along.
