Weekly Meal Plan 20170429

It’s our anniversary on Tuesday, so we can have spaghetti with some of the delicious meatballs that Keith made last week. We’ll just have to cook the pasta and warm up the sauce and meatballs.

On Wednesday, we’re going out for lunch, to celebrate a day late. I’m sure we won’t be too hungry at suppertime, so I’ve put beans and wieners on the menu for that night.

There’s nothing new on the plan for this week, so I’d better start looking for a tasty new recipe for next week.

How It Actually Went

Here’s what we actually had this week. Things got moved around a bit, but only one thing got dropped from the menu.

The Veal Schnitzel turned into Turkey Schnitzel, because we remembered that we liked it better. It’s a lower cost, and cooks beautifully, with no fuss.

On Tuesday, I made the Pork Tenderloin , and the sauce was a little overdone, but the meat was perfect. I threw some potatoes and carrots into the pan too, to make a one-pot supper (photo below).

After our lunch out on Wednesday, we were too full for supper, so just nibbled on cheese and crackers, instead of making beans and wieners. The spaghetti moved to Thursday, and Keith made a tasty sauce to go with the meatballs that he made and froze last week.
